Chico, CA—May 2008. LearningChange is pleased to announce the launch of The Facilitation Academy, a new training program aimed at helping people learn to develop and manage teams, design effective training programs, provide counseling services, and lead performance improvement initiatives.

The first Facilitation Academy program “Advanced Facilitator Training” will be offered June 26-June 28th in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. The program has received the endorsement of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators.

The Facilitation Academy is a joint-venture between the Chico-based training company LearningChange and TRAC Consulting of Queensland, Australia.

“We have had a long history of working with TRAC to deliver facilitation programs and we are excited to partner with them to launch the Facilitation Academy,” said Scott Winter, a LearningChange partner.

This training presents effective facilitation models and techniques that can be used to increase individual knowledge and group performance. The Facilitator Academy provides a rich opportunity for participants to practice innovative facilitation skills that will easily transfer into the workplace.
