LearningChange is Excited to Launch GABY 2.0 Web Site


Chico, California – LearningChange is excited to launch the GABY 2.0 program Web site. GABY 2.0 is a community dedicated to the youth-lead philanthropic movement. As part of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, GABY helps to support young people in developing knowledge and participating in philanthropic efforts — the importance of giving and sharing and taking action on issues that are important to them within their community.

We at LearningChange are pleased to announce we will be hosting a three-day certification workshop of Joel Barker's Implications Wheel April 1-3. Scott Winter from LearningChange will be there to support the lead trainer from Joel Barker's and share his experience using the I-Wheel with his clients.

The Headwaters School of Music & the Arts Web Site Goes Live

Bemidji, Minnesota—February 2009. LearningChange is proud to showcase the new website for The Headwaters School of Music & the Arts in Bemidji, Minnesota. The Headwaters School of Music & the Arts seeks to build meaningful relationships with the community through cultural events. This nonprofit organization provides private lessons, group classes and features special concerts and events which are open to the public.
 

LearningChange Supports Local Children’s Choir

Chico, California—January 2009. Put on your evening wear and come to the Moonlight Melodies fundraising event hosted by Children’s Choir of Chico on Saturday, February 28! The evening begins at 6pm in the Sierra Nevada Big Room and features an elegant dinner, auctions, dancing and musical guests, The Fabulous Swing Kings, a 14-piece band plus vocalists.

Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho is Awarded for Successful Microbrew Festival

Chico, CA --July 2008. After another successful Microbrew Festival in June, the Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho took first place for the Soroptimist’s Celebrating Success Fundraising Award at the 40th Biennial Convention held in Taipei, Taiwan. 

Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival

Bemidji, MN -- Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat festival brings midsummer fun to the shores of Lake Bemidji. Contestants and observers from all over the area will pack the shoreline of Lake Bemidji from July 31st - August 2nd, 2008. The 3rd annual event will feature the racing of dragon boats as well as events for the entire family.

Shubert's Ice Cream & Candy Turns 70 Years Old, Gets a Design Face-Lift from LearningChange

Chico, California—May 2008. Our favorite local homemade ice cream and candy shop is celebrating 70 years of bringing tasty treats to the Chico community with a great deal of fanfare. Shubert’s Ice Cream & Candy is a final four finalist in the Good Morning America "Best Scoop in America" contest.

To mark the event, LearningChange partner Earl Jessee worked with Shubert’s to redesign their anniversary logo and launch a new Web site.
