Each Facilitation Academy category entails 15-20 hours of instruction offered through a combination of core online courses and face-to-face facilitation training sessions.
The initial online courses guide you in exploring key concepts in facilitation, communication and organizational theories, best practices, as well as tools and models for facilitation.

After gaining a strong foundation in each theme’s core facilitation concepts, participants attend a face-to-face facilitation training capstone session where they explore facilitation skills, practice with a group of peers, give and receive feedback, and strengthen facilitation skills.
Face-to-face capstone sessions are scheduled at various times throughout the year in the U.S.A. and Australia. In addition, arrangements can be made for on-site facilitation training sessions within organizations as needed.
Course participants will learn to:
- Facilitate individual and group discussion and interactions effectively
- Create challenging and safe learning environments for others
- Successfully manage conflict within a team environment
- Lead structured learning initiatives utilizing a variety of experiential based philosophies and resources
- Increase the participation and effectiveness of your existing training events and professional development programs
- Teach, train, and facilitate with confidence
